Introduction
I just got home from visiting the Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort & Spa for the very first time. Although I am a relatively frequent visitor of Florida, I had never been to Marco Island before this weekend trip. Contrary to popular belief, Marco Island is almost completely up and running as normal after the hurricanes swept through this Fall. Everything looked fresh and clean and there are very little signs of damage. I had an amazing time visiting the beautiful Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort, and I believe you should add it to your list of upcoming destinations to visit in the United States.

About the Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort & Spa
Located on Marco Island, the Hilton Marco Island resort is a boutique-style resort that takes pride in providing guests with an intimate and superior vacation experience. There is currently a multi-million dollar transformation that is taking place at the resort which includes annual property refreshes. This resort encompasses state of the art amenities and the best staff who care about you and make sure you have a good experience. I was truly impressed at the high level of customer service that I received throughout my entire stay. This resort has it all and definitely has the feel of a luxury resort. Although my mom and I had a rental car, we never had to use it because everything we wanted and needed was available on the resort property.
The Pool & Beach
The Pool
The pool area is exceptionally clean and has a luxury feel to it. The chairs are very comfortable and there are large umbrellas that you can use when you want to get out of the sun. Each guest is allowed 2 towels, but you can switch them out for new ones whenever you want. While relaxing by the pool you are able to order food and drinks from the servers who are walking around the pool deck. The resort gives you the option of charging these purchases to your room, or paying by cash or card. It’s a great option to charge purchases to your room so that you don’t have to carry cash with you.
The pool is large and the water is the perfect temperature. It is cold enough to cool you off but not too cold where it isn’t comfortable to stay in. There is a ledge in the pool where you can sit and relax while enjoying a beverage from the bar.
I really appreciated that the ground of the pool deck stayed cool during the hottest part of the days. I was able to walk around barefoot and my feet were never burned from the deck being too hot. The pool area was definitely busier on the weekend than during the week. Although there isn’t a bad seat, keep in mind that one side of the pool doesn’t get sun until about mid-day. If you want a specific seat by the pool, make sure you get up early and save some chairs for your family.
The Beach
The beach is extremely clean and well-maintained by the resort staff. My favorite part about the beach is the two chairs and beach umbrella that come with your room. The Hilton staff who work at the beach are very kind and help you with whatever you may need. The sunsets are beautiful on Marco Island. I especially loved walking the beach in the evenings while the sun was going down. The ocean-front is loaded with amazing seashells that my mom and I loved to look at each day. Whether you are a “pool person” or a “beach person”, this resort has the best of both worlds and can satisfy whichever you are craving that day.
Food & Beverages
My mom and I were constantly talking about how good the food was at this resort. The quality is excellent and the portions are huge! The breakfast that is served at the restaurant on the resort, called “The Deck at 560” was truly incredible. We could not wait to eat breakfast at the buffet every morning. The staff member who makes the omelettes is incredible at his job, and the service was top of the line all around. Our server remembered our drink orders every morning and welcomed us with a smile on her face. I am definitely going to miss eating breakfast here every morning.
After having such a large breakfast every day, we typically grabbed something to share from the Deck food menu or the 560 Market for lunch. The Deck has a great food and beverage menu and their drinks are extremely well made. It was obvious that the bar staff knew what they were doing and used high-quality products. A few of my favorite meals on the Deck menu include the Baja Tacos and the Mediterranean Flatbread, which are in the pictures above.
Although our first dinner at the “Deck at 560” was disappointing in both service and quality of food, they definitely redeemed themselves and the food and service greatly improved. Our dinner on the last night was one of the best salmon dinners that I have ever had! The only suggestion I would make to the resort is to add additional lighting to the outdoor seating area, as it is very dark and hard to read the menu once the sun goes down. If you are not feeling like a sit-down dinner, the Market 560 offers an amazing wood-fired pizza that is extremely tasty. They also have packaged sandwiches and salads that both look delicious. The resort had live music on the Deck some evenings, and it was very enjoyable to sit under the stars and listen to the musicians with a cocktail in hand.
Accommodations
The rooms at the Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort are updated and very nice. We had the pleasure of staying in a suite and it was extremely spacious. Our room was always very clean and the furniture is kept up well. The cleaning department did a “light refresh” of the room each day, which included making the bed, taking out the trash, and providing new towels for us. My favorite part of the suite is the two furnished balconies that provide incredible ocean views from the top floor of the resort. I loved sitting out on these balconies and reading a book and taking in the fresh ocean breeze. I appreciated that the room came with high-speed internet access and two flat screen TV’s.
The Spa
My mom and I enjoyed our Sunday afternoon visiting the spa. When we first walked into the spa, we were welcomed by the most amazing Spa Attendant named Sue. She was so pleasant the entire time we were there, and she even brought us hot tea and mimosas to enjoy while we waited for our massages. I recommend getting to the Spa early before your scheduled appointment to enjoy their amenities while you wait. These amenities include saunas, an outdoor hot tub, showers, complimentary tea, water, or mimosas. The spa provides a robe and shoes for you to change into, and they were both so cozy. The massage was very relaxing and I really enjoyed my conversation with Debbie. She was professional and made sure I was comfortable at all times. After our massages we never felt rushed to leave and the service was top notch.
Conclusion
My mom and I both had an amazing time at the Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort & Spa. I highly recommend adding this resort to your bucket list of places to visit in the USA. It was so hard to leave on the last day because we were having the time of our lives. The service was amazing, the food and drinks were high-quality, and the amenities include everything you could need and more. I can’t wait to bring the rest of my family to experience this incredible resort, and I highly recommend you do the same. Thank you, Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort & Spa for having me as a guest at your resort, I had an incredible time!
