This takes all the pleasure out of the beginning of the trip. Anxious travelers can experience everything from nervousness, fear, discomfort or even fall sick during and after the travel has been completed.

Many people find that the use of CBD oil helps with their stress and anxiety. Personally I use it and have used it to reduce travel anxiety. Anxiety is no fun, at any time of your life. CBD helps many people with their anxiety and pain.

Lavender essential oil is a great choice for before, during and after your travel is done. Use it in a bath before you begin travel to help reduce stress levels and remove any feelings of anxiety you are experiencing.
While traveling, add a drop of lavender near your nose or on your wrist so that you are able to breathe in the calming scent. To help beat jet lag, or keep anxiety levels low while you are at your destination, use a personal travel diffuser in your room or use the oil in a bath as needed.

Peppermint Essential Oil
Many of us experience enough anxiety while traveling that it causes our stomachs to become upset. To reduce this, or combat it before it even becomes an issue, you can add a drop of peppermint oil to your wrist and sniff as needed.
Peppermint oil beadlets are my favorite to use for all sorts of nausea due to travel or anxiety. Even dropping one in a cup of hot water or tea helps ease a tummy.
Adding a drop to your temples might help as well but the smell might cause your eyes to water a bit. Peppermint not only helps with nausea but can give you a “pick me up” to help with your anxiety.

Citrus Essential Oils
Citrus scented essential oils such as grapefruit, orange and lemon are great to reduce travel anxiety because they improve our moods, increase alertness and calm our senses after increased fatigue. Begin using these oils as soon as you start your journey, and continue their use throughout your travel in order to experience their benefits.
Because citrus essential oils are strong, it is important to use these sparingly, diluting as much as possible. A great option is to create a cream or balm using a citrus essential oil blend that you can rub into skin and inhale during your travel.
