While on the veranda you will experience magnificent waterfront views and a picture-perfect location for the sunset in the evening hours.
While it was too windy and cold to dine on the veranda, I enjoyed my dinner inside while periodically walking outside to enjoy the fabulous views of the sunset. The Chef’s Special Oscar style filet was one of the best dishes I have ever had. I would highly recommend starting with the seafood Mac-N-Cheese, as this dish was one that I could have easily eaten as my main course. The Mac-n-cheese is full of seafood and truffle cheese and was one of the most delicious starters I have had in a long time.
Sassy Bass Amazin’ Grill
Sassy Bass Amazin’ Grill is a hidden gem located in Gulf Shores, Alabama. This locals favorite serves up great sandwiches, burgers, seafood, and some of the best oysters in town. The ambience at the Amazin’ Grill is truly a locals favorite, with old arcade games to play after you eat and stringing lights hanging from the ceiling. If you are looking for a locals restaurant that has amazing food and drinks, do not miss out on any of the Sassy Bass restaurants!
The menu at Sassy Bass Amazin’ Grill showcases a mouthwatering selection of Southern-inspired dishes crafted with fresh, local ingredients. Start your meal with appetizers like their “famous” Gouda Cheese Balls, Gulf shrimp, or crab crostini, each bursting with Gulf Coast flavors. One of their specialties is their Chilean Sea Bass, which is lightly dusted and sauteed with creamy scalloped potatoes. The oysters that Sassy Bass serves are Navy Cove oysters. These are pulled from their own oyster farm in the bay just down the road, so the oysters are truly fresh!

The restaurant’s affordable prices make it easy to treat the whole family to a delicious meal without breaking the bank.
I enjoyed a great lunch at Picnic Beach while visiting Orange Beach. The Caribbean bowl was very tasty and enough food to fill me up for a long time. I also tried the strawberry boba fruit tea, which was a very fun fruity drink to have while on Alabama’s gulf coast. This drink is definitely big enough to share with a loved one, or pour some of it into another cup for your kids to try.
