If you ever venture to Duluth, Mn. one of the great sites you must check out is Enger Park Restoration or as we say – Enger Tower. I have lived in the area for 44 years, and just a few weeks ago visited for my very first time.. ever! Sad, I know. Seems the local tourist stuff is always the last thing we do. I love being a tourist, in other places, but not locally. I really need to change that.
This tower is very unique, and the park is beautiful. If you don’t mind climbing a few stairs to get to the different levels, you will for sure love the view when you get there. Here is me taking in some sun and sight from one level.

The view from the windows in the tower is amazing. You can see for miles and miles around Duluth. Look at these views. Bridges, Lake Superior, St Louis Bay, Superior, and Park Point. Just breathtaking! I wish I had my binoculars so I could see more of what was around me.

Because I had never been there, I didn’t know what to expect. I had only heard others talk of it. Boy the place was packed!! Lots of people come to take pictures by the tower. Even watched someone having grad pics taken, and seen a lady taking pictures of dresses on a mannequin as we were leaving.
If you ever travel to Duluth, Mn., put the Enger Tower on your list of must see things.

Yes, when we were there, there was someone getting their senior pictures taken. Such a beautiful place for that. When Prince died, they lit the whole tower in purple, it was so beautiful.

Isn’t funny how most of us live in these great places, yet we never explore them. I am also trying to do more of that. Just think of how much blog content you can get out of it. 😉 Great post!

Now that I am in full swing with my blog, I wish summer was just starting because Minnesota has some amazing places to visit, but not once the cold hits. I guess I need to make my Minnesota bucket list for next year.

Fun tower! I don’t mind climbing stairs, especially to get such great views!
Sheila Thomas says
There are not to many stairs, so it’s not bad at all.

Beautiful photos! This looks like a great place. I am guilty too, so much great stuff close to me and I haven’t been there yet 🙂

I think most people are guilty of not knowing what’s right under their nose. Life is busy, and when one thinks of travel it’s usually to a special destination to relax, like a beach or cruise.. not your own back yard.
Jay Hall says
Great pics, you look like a total badass in the view pic.

LOL!! Thanks 🙂 That’s my Harley riding apparel. Bad Ass.. hmm….sometimes 😉

What a beautiful tower! It always amazes how people built these types of structures without modern technology. Thank you for sharing!
