Often rated the best nude beach in the United States you’ll find Haulover Beach in sunny Miami. This is due to both its easy access and its prime location. Every year 3.1 million visitors frequent this long stretch of white sand. In July Haulover Beach hosts a National Nude Recreation Week.
Gunnison Beach – Middletown, New Jersey
The only legal nude beach on the Jersey Shore is Gunnison Beach. The entire beach isn’t clothing optional but the nude section is to the south. It’s clearly marked and will be a bit of a trek from the parking lot.
Baker Beach – San Francisco, California
This popular urban beach in the heart of San Francisco offers nude sunbathing with an amazing view of the Golden Gate Bridge. The hazardous surf sign on the beach acts as the unofficial boundary of the clothing-optional area.

Kauapea Beach – Kilauea, Hawaii
Also known as the “Secret Beach” this nude beach is unofficially clothing optional. Due to its remote and secluded location, people come here to get away from it all.
UFO Beach – South Padre Island, Texas
On South Padre Island you will find UFO Beach. This is a topless beach with a painted sign proudly stating clothing is optional. Keep in mind that topless sunbathing is allowed but you may want to cover the lower part of your body. It rarely happens but Beach Patrol has been known to make people cover-up.
Kehena Beach – Big Island, Hawaii
